New Leaf Venture Companions led the round, with participation by new investors Pappas Morningside and Ventures Group, along with existing investors Canaan Companions, Sanderling Ventures, Alta Partners, Asset Management Organization and Frazier Healthcare Ventures . Arises from this financing will be used to aid the advancement of Chimerix’s two clinical-stage candidates, CMX157 and CMX001.
